Dear Parents and Families,

We are excited to welcome the pre-Kindergarten through second grade students back to hybrid in person learning next week starting Monday, October 19, and look forward to seeing third through fifth graders on Monday, October 26.

Our kids have been working hard in this first month of school and we plan to do a “Zoom Free” Friday at all elementary schools. What this means is teachers will provide students with assignments to work on this Friday, October 16, and no Zoom sessions will occur. Additionally, no “in person” special education classes will be offered on Friday, October 16. Special education students will also be given other assignments to work on from home.

The “Zoom Free” Friday will give our students a day to focus on schoolwork without needing to attend Zoom sessions.  Elementary school employees will spend the time on Friday completing final preparations so that our first week of hybrid in-person learning will be a great success!

Additional information:
For all kindergarten through fifth grade students who have chosen 100 percent remote learning, you will start working with your new teacher on Monday, October 19. Your remote learning teacher will contact you this week with more details.
